Description Match worn or issued Real Madrid long-sleeved home shirt by the club’s number 2, which was defender Chendo in most or all of the matches this 1986-1987 season. Miguel Porlán Noguera was the actual name of Chendo. During the 1986-87 league season, Miguel Porlán Noguera was the one who played (most of) the league and international matches with number #2 (e.g. see the lineups of the last two photos). Left-back José Antonio Camacho played for Real Madrid’s reserve team Castilla CF in the period 1980-1983. He then played for the first team for 15(!) years, in the period 1983–1998. He only played for Real Madrid in his football career. Furthermore, Chendo played 26 matches for the Spanish national team in the period 1986-1990. There was only a small difference between this 1986-87 version and the one from the next season 1987-88: the Hummel text underneath the logo on the chest was only present in the former season, but not in all matches! The shirt has all the characteristics of a match shirt: Painted Parmalat sponsor logo (not commercially available) Painted number 2 Long sleeves In this period, shirts were often used in multiple competition matches by whoever started with that number (so often also by multiple players). It is almost certain that it was worn as reserve competition shirts were only very rarely made. Years: 1986-1987 Size: Small (Chendo was 1.74 m tall) Condition: Very good Brand: Hummel Sponsor: Parmalat
